PROJECT #1: Cardboard Hat-Artist: Ann Weber
Inspired by sculptor Ann Weber, last year's ISB artist in residence, you and a partner will create a cardboard hat or receptacle using cardboard strips, staples and tape.
Think about SHAPE and FORM when you and your partner plan out your cardboard hat design.
We will gesso this hat and then paint it and finally, have a photo shoot at the end!

Project #2 Assemblage Sculpture: Louise Nevelson
Our second project will be inspired by Louise Nevelson, a famous American sculptor known for her abstract expressionist "boxes" grouped together to form a new creation. She used found object or everyday discarded things in her "assemblages", one of which was three stories high.
